i miss the times at 85 market, at you stall,
during the mooncake festival.
i love to eat mooncakes and thus
i always take from your stall.
you would always let us eat and then
you nag at grandma for letting us eat so much.
i missed the times when we all are sitting behind your blue van
and when you exceed the speed limit
the van will go beep beep beep
i missed the times when i had to be baby sit by you and grandma
when i was primary 6
i would call home after school asking what do u want to eat
and you would always say
tau suan, oh bee bei, dua bei.
i missed the times when i accompanied you to the hospital
for your appointment
and pushing you in the wheel chair.
i was only primary 6 and had to push you around.
and i didnt know how to control the wheel chair
and often enough,
i bang the wheelchair to the walls.
i missed the lunar 7th month festivals
where you are the mc for conducted the event
i missed the times where
you are still selling the joss sticks at the shops.
i missed the sunday mornings
when daddy would bring you to all the nice bak ku teh and have breakfast.
this is the last memories i had of you.
and it has been 11 years.
that you had left us.
